The grapevine was abuzz with the news that Hrithik Roshan and his co-star Barbara Mori were too close to each other during the shooting of their film Kites.

Believe it or not, it was Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father, who crafted the hot plots. Rakesh clarified that no steamy scenes were added to woo international audience though it has two versions. He added that Hrithik couldn’t help but kiss Barbara because, as lovebirds, they couldn’t sing songs like in Hindi films. He also said that Hrithik, as an actor, had to do what the filmmakers asked him to.

Kites, directed by Anurag Basu, also features glamorous actress Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.
